1x8 Roof Decking

The roof on my house has 1x8 for sheathing with roughly 3 4 gaps between them on top of enginneered trusses.

The tar paper is applied over these boards and then shingled over. I m more or less asking for a general consensus here. If pieces are for controlled random layup odd or even lengths are permitted and the minimum lengths based on board feet percentages shall be as follows.
